Through the Career Path program, STRIVE Baltimore graduates complete employer-guided occupational training modules and receive post-secondary skills and certifications, which help them access higher paying jobs offered by partner employers.

In addition to the specialized skills training, Career Path encourages participants to remain self-motivated and re-emphasizes the importance of a positive attitude in creating a supportive network that promotes career advancement. Currently, the Career path program offers continuing education and occupational training through the following programs:

  • Customer Services Representative Certification
  • Warehousing and Shipping Associate Certification
  • CRAVE Program designed to help recent grads network with older graduates who are willing to coach them in their industry. Click here for program details.
  • Machinist preparatory math and measuring tool class for machine operator positions.
  • GED preparatory classes twice per week
  • Financial literacy classes every month
  • Home ownership seminars
  • Monthly networking events
  • Advanced education counseling (FAFSA, Spring Into Quest, College applications)
  • Paid culinary training through Dogwood Culinary Institute
  • Spring and Fall Job Fairs
