Couples Employment & Related Fatherhood Services
CFUF’s Couples Employment & Related Fatherhood Services (CERF) program provides employment resources to couples in the Baltimore area.
Do you have children and want to provide greater financial security for your family? Are you in a relationship and want to better the employment outlook for both you and your partner?
The program helps families grow together through a unique combination of the couples-based approach of the Building Strong Families program, the job readiness training of the STRIVE Baltimore program, and the work-first ethic of the Responsible Fatherhood program.
Participating couples:
- Attend workshops on Budgeting and Financial Management, Homeownership, Credit Management, and others.
- Work with a Workforce Development Specialist to develop a Family-Focused Employment Plan.
- Complete a Workforce Development Assessment and be referred to the appropriate job training or readiness programs.
- Receive employment placement support for Workforce Development Specialists focused on developing family-friendly job opportunities.
