Since its founding in 1999, the Center for Urban Families has seen tremendous growth in both its breadth of programming and demonstrated impact for underserved local communities.
Each year, CFUF is visited by social service and community-based organizations from across the country that wish to replicate its program models, by policy makers and community leaders interested in learning how responsible fatherhood services directly affect the lives of those that participate, and by media outlets interested in featuring the organization's successes.
CFUF's staff and programs have been featured in the media more than 90 times, including on CBS' 48 Hours, Fox 45 News, Spike TV, NPR, and on the McNeil-Lehrer News Hour, as well as in the Baltimore Sun, the Washington Times and the New York Times.
