Program Planning and Evaluation

Program Planning and Evaluation (PPE) is the department responsible for the quality and efficacy of all of CFUF’s programs and services. PPE houses all of the areas of CFUF that are not providing direct services to clients. Its mission is to evaluate our program and service quality, to assess our impact on urban families, to challenge assumptions about drivers for change, and to engage and effectively tell the CFUF story to our wide-ranging constituencies.

PPE manages the following activities:

Policy and Advocacy
Using the data that we gather in our program assessments, we inform legislators and other influential leaders about the impact of policy decisions on the low-income, urban clients we serve. We also work within agencies and community based organizations to advocate for our clients.

Training and Technical Assistance
Our training and technical assistance activities involve sharing our expertise with outside organizations. Click here for details of our Training and Technical Assistance grants.

Healthy Relationships and Marriage Initiatives
Ou Healthy Relationships and Marriage Initiaves are based on a curriculum designed by CFUF to support and enhance healthy relationships and marriage with a segment of the population that is often overlooked. The program is delivered through a series of Training and Technical assistance grants to organizations around the country.

Grants and Contracts Management
All funding grants are written and managed by PPE.
