Exploring Relationships & Marriage Curriculum Trainings: Couples, Mothers, & Fathers

This training is for anyone in the human services field looking for a unique opportunity to support and enhance healthy relationships and marriage with a segment of the population that is often overlooked.

The Exploring Relationships & Marriage with Fragile Families (ERM) curriculum was developed by CFUF in conjunction with the State of Louisiana’s Department of Human Resources. The hip-hop infused ERM curriculum focuses on communication skills, conflict resolution, personal and familial goal setting, effective parenting, and planning for the future. The curriculum assists low-income mothers and fathers in strengthening their relationships, exploring marriage, and providing healthy and safe environments for their children.

CFUF provides on-site training to community and faith-based organizations interested in implementing the ERM curriculum. The two-day training includes:

  • Facilitation by Joseph T. Jones (co-developer of the curriculum and President/CEO of CFUF) and Julia Hayman-Hamilton (developer of the 50/50 Parenting Curriculum)
  • Exploring Healthy Relationships and Marriage with Fragile Families curriculum, including accompanying CD-ROM and hard copy handouts and exercises.
  • Training Workbook
  • Curriculum Facilitator Certification (upon successful completion of training evaluation.)
